What you can ask for once your Oopbuy item is stored
Intake opens a short window. Returns, extra photos and packing choices all run on clocks that start the moment the status changes.

The clock that matters most starts at intake. Oopbuy's Returns and Refunds page describes a 5-Day Return/Exchange Guarantee: a return or exchange can be requested within 5 days (120 hours) after the item is stocked in the warehouse, which the same page equates with 7 days after the seller's parcel was signed for.
It only applies where the seller offers guaranteed returns, and the item must be in a condition that can be resold. The seller has the final word.
The exclusion list is long and specific: custom-made items, clothes with tags removed, newspapers and periodicals, second-hand goods, items from outside mainland China, underwear, socks and leggings, adult products, food, ten-plus orders of books (15 or more), and opened products that need "special standards" packaging to be returned. You pay return shipping, both legs if the seller offered no free shipping.
Separately, you can cancel a parcel order within 5 days of paying for it. That is about the international shipment, not the item.
The storage clock: 90 days, and four versions of what comes next
The free storage period is clear: 90 days for normal items, counted from the status "received"; 30 days for abnormal parcels, counted from "signed for". Oopbuy sends an email before a normal item expires. Abnormal parcels get no reminder.
What happens after 90 days is not clear, because Oopbuy's pages give four answers. The Storage page: extend at 10 CNY per 30 days, no limit stated. The Customized Logistics Services page: one extension only, maximum 30 days, total 120 days, then the item is marked Abandoned. The warehouse value-added services table: 10 RMB per product ID per month, only for items stored 60 to 90 days, maximum storage 6 months. An older helper article: "up to 6 months free storage".
The Shopping Guidelines add that with no shipment order within 120 days of warehousing, goods may be disposed of by points-mall redemption or destruction. Arrange shipment within the applicable free period or obtain an explicit extension in your account. The differing historical pages are not a guarantee of extra storage; do not wait for a later figure when the item screen shows an earlier deadline.

Enter the date your item showed as received in My Warehouse. The clock uses Oopbuy's published periods; where Oopbuy's pages disagree, every version is shown.
Extra photos and measurements
Inside the window, the most useful request is usually a photo. Detailed Photo costs 1 RMB each and can be ordered after stock-in; you can view the results in your account. Fine Photography is a custom shoot priced on request.
Ask before deciding on a return, not after. A tape measure across a hoodie's chest or a ruler along an insole settles most fit questions for a few yuan, and the answer arrives while you can still act on it. The photo request writer drafts the note.
Packing requests for the outgoing parcel
When you submit the international parcel from My Warehouse, Oopbuy lets you tick packing services: unpacking, reinforcing, removing labels. The Packaging page adds the choices: simple packaging with vacuum bags on routes that allow it, carton packaging for shoes plus clothing, bubble paper and stretch film for protection.
None of these happen at intake itself, but every one depends on intake data: the recorded weight, the dimensions, whether the item arrived in its own box, and whether the 90 cm separate-packaging flag was set. Rehearsal Packing (20 RMB) and Parcel Photo (5 RMB) are the two paid checks on the result.
What you cannot ask the intake to do
A few requests come up often and fall outside what the warehouse does. It will not test function. It will not certify that a branded item is genuine. It will not measure a garment unless you pay for a detail photo. It will not open sealed CD, handmade or adult products.
And it will not keep goods forever. Abnormal parcels vanish after 30 days without a reminder, and destroyed goods are not notified. If you are waiting on several sellers to build one parcel, the earliest item's clock sets the pace, not the last one.
The one request the intake does reward is speed. Every option on this page is cheaper and simpler inside the first 120 hours: a return the seller accepts, a measurement that settles a size doubt, a decision to drop an item before it adds weight to the parcel. After that window, the same problems become after-sales cases with more evidence required and less certainty about the outcome.
